Data Product Owner

Take ownership for defining and operationalizing some of the company’s most important data products. Work closely with global business stakeholders, commercial, data analysts, engineers, data scientists and other cross functional teams to create integrated roadmaps, prioritize development, define metrics and key results and deliver reusable, scalable, resilient and quality Data Products that power the company business. 

Skills & Background:

Strong communication skills: able to conduct detailed, thorough analysis, synthesize findings and share those effectively across a variety of functions and cultures.
Experience with complex data systems, cloud platforms, data platforms, Big Data, analytics, AI/ML.
Experience analyzing data to identify key insights, gaps, and inconsistencies.
Expertise in database querying and reporting tools (SQL + Power BI + DAX). MicroStrategy will be considered as a plus.
Effective programming language skills (Python, PySpark, SQL), also experience on use SQL/NOSQL databases. – “R” considered a plus.
Experience analyzing data to identify key insights, gaps, and inconsistencies.
Strong understanding of the phases of data transformation (raw, refined, modeled), and how to work with engineering and analytics teams to move it from one state to the next.
Proven ability to look at solutions unconventionally and explore opportunities and design innovative solutions.
Ability to drive innovation across multiple areas and inspire the team to build for the future.
BA/BS degree and with good product manager experience.
Desire to be a change agent transforming a world class animal health company.
System Development Life Cycle and Agile Methodology familiarity.
Advanced English is a must. Any other languages will be considered a plus.
